Apple Intelligence is coming to the Vision Pro

Apple Intelligence is coming to the Vision Pro, and the headset may get a cheaper version soon, according to reports.

Apple's Vision Pro AR headset hasn't taken off as anticipated. However, the corporation is not giving up just yet.

Apple Intelligence is coming to the Vision Pro

According to Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, here's a rundown of what's going on with Vision Pro and what's to come:

Apple is trying to integrate its AI technology, Apple Intelligence, with the headset's AR interface (visionOS), allowing users to see personal images, movies, and panoramas. This is anticipated to enhance the overall user experience for headset users.

Apple is redesigning its in-store demos to create a more thorough experience. The new "Go Deeper" option enables prospective purchasers to experience functions such as office apps and video streaming. Vision Pro customers will soon be able to watch personal films and photographs, including panoramas, from within the headset. This capability is likely to be improved with the future visionOS 2 upgrade and its "spatialize" option, which can convert 2D photographs into 3D experiences.

Rumors suggest that Apple is concentrating on building a more cheap headset for distribution by the end of next year. The specifics are still murky, with contradictory sources indicating either lower-resolution screens for a successor to the Vision Pro or a total change in focus to this low-cost choice.

The largest problem appears to be reconciling affordability with the high-resolution screens available in the Vision Pro. While it's too early to declare the Vision Pro is dead, Apple is expected to release a less expensive version of the headset.

We'll find out shortly!
